About me

Hi! I'm Tina. I'm a self-taught embroidery enthusiast turned embroidery artist. I'm originally from Taiwan and have been a U.S. resident since 2015.

My background is in public health and healthcare, but I've always had a heart for art. I discovered my passion for thread painting during my master's years, and it helped me cope with loneliness and stress. What began as a personal project became a way to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming an architect. Most of my works are inspired by architecture,  architectural elements, urban aesthetics, and sometimes by my love for my husband and sister. Through studying buildings while thread painting, I reconnect with my younger self and rediscover my awe for human genius and creativity. I strive to capture these fascinations in as much detail as possible through the threads.

While this journey began as a way to fulfill my own dream, I hope my work also inspires others to give their dreams a second chance.
